Invasion Expansion
2005
Icelanders have given the unattractive and unyielding seagull names such as "svartbakur" (black back), "veiðibjalla" (hunting bell) and "vargur" (bully). It´s unpleasant laughter and screams pierce through the eardrums and irritate those who have tried to feed innocent ducks by the Reykjavik pond. The seagulls find it quite natural to peck the bread crumbs out of the small children's hands and wolf down other birds chicks and eggs.
The seagull has few fans despite it´s excellent ability to adjust and exquisite cunning. Not unlike a sly businessman or politician that exploits the world's resources. A true global bully.
